NEW CD OKNOM
(meaning THROUGH THE WINDOW)
Dear friends, after five years we are just about releasing new alum called Oknom (Through the Window). All recordings are behind us, please,
listen to the samples of the songs. Album in its final version will be presented in september 2014 and in the beginning of October we will
go for a tour (8 concerts) and we will present our new CD to the public.
Your support can help us to grow and push our musical limits. And in return, we would like to thank you in different forms. For example, we can send you new album before it is even buyable in stores, we invite you for a cup of coffe or we can play privat concert only for you.

„After five years of playing old songs from my last album and some really great projects but not very creative timeI was challenged by my pianist
Dano as well as my husband to write new songs.
I finished lyrics that were in my drawer for years, created new ones and few of them were written by great songwriter Silvia Kaščáková. We composed music to some beautiful lyrics of one amazing czech writer Michal Horáček. And very soon we started to put them on playlist at our concerts. I realized how much joy it’s bringing to my life – just to create again and I was lucky enough to have amazing musicians to join me (Rasťo Uhrík, Dano Šoltis, Michal Červienka, Peter Tomko).
We learnt about crowdfunding when we were researching the ways how to finance whole project. It really surprised me that it’s working and people would like to give towards good projects and things that make sense to them. We see great opportunity in this how to raise support for art, album, tour, promo and make our dreams grow. If you feel that our music is something you like, we will be thankful for any kind of support. We wish you beautiful days. Kata and band.“

Our goal is to raise 5000 $ for following:
1. CD releasing and CD cover 3000 $
2. Promo (posters, bilboards, baners) 2000 $
In case of very succesful crowdfunding we plan on bigger national promo of CD. Of course, full budget is much bigger and includes paying for time in studio, fees for time in studio, wages for musicians, mail, sound equipment, housing...)
